2017 – the Year of Change?
In many areas, yes. An example is our breakthrough with the new MES solution "authentig" by T.I.G., a breakthrough that manifests itself in the fact that in 2016 we have achieved the best result in the history of T.I.G.Our customers not only appreciate innovation – they understand that industry 4.0 can only be implemented with a modern MES software.
Why?Because data collection is getting increasingly diverse, and the data processing—in other words: What do our customers make of the collected data?—needs to be more and more versatile.This situation requires a modern software that is highly flexible and has the potential for extensive integration into any existing infrastructure. In one word—the best!
What is "the best"?The best is the reward we get from our commitment to continuously offering the leading industry product. Our customers are enthusiastic about "authentig" and emphasize in particular its ease of use, its ample network connection features and its rich functionality, which makes the users themselves more successful.In the age of industry 4.0 flexibility, expandability and investment protection are crucial.This can only be achieved by an entirely new product that addresses the demands of modern businesses and widely opens the door to the "smart factory" future.
But success also requires commitment.The challenges of growth have to be met, all processes and structures must be capable of growing along.Our discerning clientele (which meanwhile includes seven of the top 10 automotive suppliers) not only demands a large functionality, but also expects high quality from our software products!Again, we have changed.Following the standard software business model, in order to be more flexible T.I.G. has reorganized the product development processes. T.I.G. now develops software using the SCRUM method.To deliver the highest quality, the release management has been rearranged so that T.I.G. can now provide its customers with two to three new releases every year.Special attention is given to extensive testing prior to every release, which directly benefits the quality of the delivered product.
What should you expect from T.I.G. in 2017?
T.I.G. will continue to expand the standard software business model and will continue to attach great importance to its independence.
In 2017 another continent will be integrated into the support organization—T.I.G. will open up a new area and start to provide on-site support within the US. From then on T.I.G. will offer support by local staff in Europe, China and the US.
In 2017 T.I.G. will be fully committed to growth.T.I.G. is proceeding to massively increase the development capacities to be even faster to the market with new product ideas.Furthermore T.I.G. will set emphasis on quality and will significantly strengthen its team also in this field.

Erfolg verpflichtet aber auch. Das Wachstum muss gestemmt werden, alle Prozesse und Strukturen müssen mitwachsen können. Unsere anspruchsvolle Kundschaft (dazu zählen inzwischen sieben der Top-10-Automobilzulieferer) verlangt nicht nur große Funktionalität, sondern erwartet mit Recht auch eine hohe Qualität unserer Software! Auch hier haben wir uns verändert. Dem Standardsoftware-Businessmodell folgend, hat T.I.G. die Produktentwicklungsprozesse neu aufgestellt – um flexibler zu werden, entwickelt T.I.G. jetzt nach der SCRUM-Methode. Um höchste Qualität zu liefern, ist das Release-Management so umgestellt worden, dass T.I.G. mittlerweile zwei bis drei neue Releases pro Jahr an die Kunden ausliefern kann. Dabei wird großes Augenmerk auf ausführliche Tests im Vorfeld jeder Release-Erstellung gelegt, was unmittelbar der Qualität der ausgelieferten Software zugute kommt.
Was dürfen Sie 2017 von T.I.G. erwarten?
T.I.G. wird das Standardsoftware-Businessmodell weiter ausbauen und auch weiter großen Wert auf Unabhängigkeit legen.
2017 wird mit den USA ein weiterer Kontinent in die Support-Organisation integriert und mit Vor-Ort-Präsenz von Support-Mitarbeitern erschlossen. Damit bietet T.I.G. zukünftig Vor-Ort-Support in Europa, China und den USA an.
2017 steht voll im Zeichen von Wachstum. T.I.G. wird insbesondere die Entwicklungskapazitäten massiv aufstocken, um noch schneller mit neuen Produktideen auf dem Markt zu sein. Des Weiteren setzt T.I.G. in der Technik auf Qualität und wird auch in diesem Bereich die Mannschaft signifikant verstärken.
